We know you know about Nunu Spirits (otherwise, how’d you get here? And Welcome! 😀 ), but you may not know who is behind the project with the Greenest NFTs! We want to fix that and introduce you to our core team members, one by one. To kick it off, let’s meet our Co-Founder and CEO, Gabriel Brockman.
Gabriel, like many 80’s generation kids, loved video games from a young age. A passion that has stuck with him throughout adulthood. A few of his all time favorites from when he was younger to even what he still enjoys playing today are Secret of Mana, Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy Tactics, Hollow Knight, & Tower Fall.
Over the years, Gabriel has worked the gamut of gaming jobs. He spent time as a QA tester, level designer, game designer, game prototyper, artist, concept artist, creative lead, and now as the Co-Founder and CEO of Tater Games, the gaming studio behind Brew Story, Cyber Forge, and Nunu Spirits, which he and a good friend started 3 years ago.
He’s come a long way since failing his first Indiegogo, “the electric adventures of watt”, 12 years ago and we’re glad he didn’t stop there. In fact, his artistic and creative nature landed him a job at Pixel Federation when he moved to Slovakia, a land in the center of Europe which he now calls home.
After a three year stint at Pixel Federation, Gabriel moved into the blockchain space and joined a startup that had a hugely successful ICO back in 2017. He moved up the ranks to brand manager and helped form the company’s vision to recreate the creative industry and digital ownership with the possibilities of decentralized technology. That was when he realized the vast potential that blockchain, and later on NFTs, could have on gaming.
“I joined the realm of crypto because I believe the world can benefit from decentralization and transparency. I combined my love for games with crypto because I see many ways that blockchain technology can positively impact the planet. I think games are a perfect place for everyone to learn and explore blockchain.”
Gabriel Brockman
Gabriel has strong visions of a future where developers and creators truly take ownership of their craft. When he’s not deeply involved in creating games and running a gaming studio, he loves sculpting figures from clay. He prefers to work in a miniature scale (usually 28mm) where detail and precision are of the essence. Gabriel also trains historical European martial arts and prefers combat with a long sword.
